Privacy Notice

The ‘Lawful Basis’ upon which Frome Selwood Photographic Society holds member’s details is their ‘Consent’.

Frome Selwood Photographic Society will hold and use membership information for the purposes of the administration and operation of the Society in accordance with the objects of the Society as contained in its Constitution and Rules.

Details of how data is held, used, secured and removed from the Society’s database are contained in the Society’s Data Protection Policy available on the Society’s website or from the Membership Secretary. The Membership Secretary will also deal with any requests to update or remove data from the Society’s database.

Many of the Society’s activities are administered or operated by email. Therefore, whilst it is not essential, inclusion of personal data within the Society’s database will enable full benefit to be gained from membership of the Society.

If consent is not given, you can still be a member of the club, but we will not be able to contact you to keep you up to date of club activities.

Your rights

Your rights are set out in in Articles 13 to 22 of the General Data Protection Regulation 2016 and include:
• The right to access your personal information, to request rectification or erasure of certain personal information and to object to processing in certain circumstances.
• The right to withdraw any consent you may have given to process your personal information.
